Due to continued growth across our Australian and New Zealand business, Allegis Group Australia is seeking an experienced Commercial Business Partner to support our TEKsystems business. This role partners closely with senior leaders and sales teams to drive sustainable growth, provide commercial insight and strengthen operational performance across the business.

The Role
As a Commercial Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, working closely with sales and leadership teams to drive profitable and sustainable growth. You will provide end‑to‑end commercial finance partnering, lead key reporting and planning activities, and ensure strong governance across contracting, billing and operational processes.
This role balances strategic insight with hands‑on commercial leadership in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial insight, financial guidance and decision support
- Drive operating and process standards aligned to legislative, contractual and business requirements
- Act as a key commercial contact across functions, supporting complex issue resolution
- Partner with payroll, billing and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of core processes
Commercial Analysis & Reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities
- Own management reporting, financial analysis and key performance metrics
- Translate business strategy into actionable financial and operational insights
Contracts, Bids & Governance
- Lead RFI/RFP processes, including commercial input and rate negotiations
- Coordinate contract reviews (MSAs, SOWs) in partnership with Legal
- Maintain governance and accuracy of the contract database
People, Process & Transformation
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and support sales teams to strengthen commercial capability
- Lead or contribute to business improvement and digital transformation projects
About You
- 8+ years’ experience, including 5+ years in a commercial partnering or finance business partner role
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA or CPP) is essential
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes
- Strong experience working with sales‑led organisations
- Highly analytical, commercially astute and solutions‑focused
- Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment
